Unofficial Synopsis:

Alex O’Connor is not all that she seems. On the outside, she’s a student at NYU who doesn’t like to talk about her parents and is often overshadowed by her exuberant and quirky roommate, Ellie Saunders. Whenever she’s not keeping up the façade, however, she’s an assassin for the Martello crime family, who’s keeping her father hostage for a newspaper exposé he wrote on the crime family when she was a child. Since then, her mother has become mentally unstable and is now institutionalized. As part of her working to free her father, she’s given the assignment of befriending a fellow NYU student … who also happens to be a member of a rival crime family. The Martellos have something planned, and the timing needs to be precise. Unlike the other cases they’ve given her, she’ll have to get to know Mick Corelli before killing him. But once she knows him, can she really do it?
